Vac. On Boost Gauge

i have a boost gauge that reads vac. at idle it reads 16 is that good?when you rev it boost goes to a little over 5lbs is that good?

16 isnt bad...i believe the ideal vacuum should read between 18-21 (correct me if i am wrong) and seeing a little boost at idle is fine it means that the butterfly on top of the turbo is opening up properly. 5 lbs seems a little high for nuetral but someone else can confirm that one.

My Vac is usually at 18 and I rev in neutral I hit about 3lbs.
