Oh and a good shop is one that has seen and tried various setups that they sell and can tell from personal experience what is good for whatever purpose and what isn't. I hate it when I call a shop and ask what they think about a certain topic and have no clue what's going on.
This is just my 2 cents though. Don't know if it really is worth anything. It is only 2 cents...

Venom,
Go with either the spearco or the XS cores. If you plan to build that car into your "display" so to speak for your company, buying a used NPR or other won't make you look good to your customers. Customers really appreciate seeing a well built car, with quality parts on it..even if they can't afford to do it themselves, they like knowing the shop takes pride in its own work.
Also, if you having trouble putting aside the money to do this, it sounds like you may want to wait awhile until you can build some capital or get the cash. A business is something you will need to take seriously..and if your car is part of that business, it too has to be taken seriously. You are not going to get 550 street-legal horsepower by turboing an NA. Albeit a cool idea...but how will it look when your project car blows up every other month. I'm not trying to be an *** by any means, I just know how hard it is to start a business in the import car world. Also, you will want to see about getting some formal training w/ dyno equipment, EMS's,etc...a good shop that can tune a car well is worth its weight in gold by far!
BTW...FMICs are sexier

no i don't think anyones being an ***, I apreciate the information. anyone want to trade a low mile n/a for a turbo motor? only 86k miles, good compression. the only reason the car its out of is cause the auto tranny ate itself abuot the same time i got my five speed car, soo.......
and yea, I know about business, my parents are business owners, and I've worked in and around the business since I was 10, so I understand how it works.
the cool thing is, I will have very little overhead because i'm only going one order at a time, and I am requiring a 50% payment before order is placed to minimize risk of getting stuck with parts. and storage will be free, my only cost will be time
oh, and what would be the result of the n/a rotors in a turbo engine? good/bad?
what about fd rotors in a s5 turbo II block, with a to4r turbo on a greddy mainifold?
and I think I am going to go fmic, I just will get some major radiator cooling fans

hrm, yea, I havent researched the manifold much yet, I've just seen a few floating around, and yea, the greddy ones are cast.
I have a guy that can build a manifold for me, but quality is unkown
how would a to4r handle a rew? or re? its gonna be streetported

any lag? where in the rpm band should power start?
For an example a P trim .96 turbine with a large streetport would probably hit full boost from 4-4.5K.
