I think the simplest way of doin' it is to run a switch straight from the EGI to inside the car. I mounted a switch on the right kicker panel (small piece just below the side of the radio). Ran 2 wires straight through a grommet in the firewall and splice directly to the EGI connection. That easy.

This is simpler then running a piece of wire about 4" long under the steering

column? No holes, no muss, no fuss. No wires strung about.



The whole thing takes about 5 minutes if that.

Yea that is what I did with mine, but I made the wire a bit longer and ran it to a switch in the center console.

so if my car floods and i happen to have an on/off switch mounted in the car somewhere all i have ta do is turn it off crank it over a couple of times like i would if pulling the egi switch and turn it back on and start the car?

thats a deal maybe i will mount it somewhere in a cool spot so it looks like i got nos hidden lol and get one of the cool on/off switches cause its already spliced from the pump i just have to uncross it and drop my on/off switch on it

actually the car will start itself, then you flip the switch back on.

Yeah, if U go the "fuel pump" way, it will start...and die if U don't flip the switch back as soon as it starts. The "EGI" way is turning it over a few times, then flipping the switch and starting. It doesn't matter which way U do it....which ever U prefer.

My fuel pump switch is hidden...it's a little extra theft prevention if I want it.
