Fastest way: drive it in. Pull the egi fuse, crank it over a couple times, pull out spark plugs, dry them off, start car.

MazdaEnthused 07-03-2003 04:33 PM

egi fuse?

1Revvin7 07-03-2003 07:04 PM

under the hood, near the driver side shock tower, there is a fuse box...

that's the hard way, just pull the fuel pump relay under the dash by the gas pedal and hit the starter after a few seconds it will start, quickly plug it back in... done

MazdaEnthused 07-03-2003 11:36 PM

lol all i did was pull the egi fuse crank it over a few times put it back in and it started right up sooo easy

get a fuel pump kill switch, makes things much easier, especially in the event that a chick is in your car and you dont want to look like you got a POS, or if you're stuck in rainy weather and at a stop light.

actually when i got the gas tank with in tank fuel pump it already came with one wired but i crossed them instead of dropin an on/off switch they guy had his wired in his rear compartment thing so i think thats what i'm gonna do

thats how I do it, you can wire a switch in there as well, snip

the blue wire, run it to a switch, then run the wire back to it.
