Do you have any other mods already?

What are your plans with the car?

Suspension is always a sure bet, these cars really handle well with nice suspension.

Most people may overlook this is a starting mod, but good tires make ALL the difference.

Most folks will tellyou exhaust, but actually suspension, brakes and tires should be done before you start adding HP.

This is really important. I for one, refuse to comment until I know more about how you are going to use the car.

But my gut reaction would be to add a 100 shot of NOS.

assuming you're gonna keep the stock engine (no turbo swappin)

handling/chassis:

look everything over, any suspect bushings/bearings/sway bar links need to be replaced.

shocks; kyb agx's are great

springs: up to you...

wheels/tires:

for an NA, you want to pay attention to the weight of the wheels, you dont have tons of power. so pick something light

we figure the best size for an NA is about 15x7. 16x7 or 16x8 is doable too.

engine:

again look over everything, make sure all the vdi and 6port stuff actually works, most of the time it doesnt.

next step id take is a super afc, then remove the cat

if you do all that, you end up with a fun car, thats still mostly stock

if you want to go a little further you can, but it gets a lot harder and more expensive
