Does any one have eveperience and knowledge with different turbo's on 87 TII's. If so what is the best turbo with least amount of lag compared to power ratio...

Also is the GT35/40 turbo any good...i'm looking to run over 15psi...

It all depends on what you are looking for in the turbo. A simple upgraded stock turbo, such as a 60-1 upgrade can be bought for $700+ and will bolt directly onto your stock manifold. This would allow you to run 15psi without damaging the turbo. The stock turbos on the rx7 will boost 15psi w/ creep...but it is very unsafe for the turbo and will cause early destruction. We offer GT35/40 Turbo kits for 2nd gens, and they are by far a great setup. We offer the entire kit for $3550.99 shipped. If you are going for bigger HP number...the gt35/40 is where its at. Of course, when you plan on running the 15psi, you will need an upgraded fuel setup, intercooler, and it's best to rebuild the motor if your planning on high HP numbers. Stock 2pc 2mm APEX seals can handle 20psi according to Dave Atkins(owner of Atkins Rotary in WA state)...but with just one ping due to bad tuning, those seals will let loose!

You live in the Seattle area? If so there is a place called ADP in Kent. Their phone # is 1-866-291-3999, ask for Derryl(sp?).
