I was quoted $680 + $40 shipping (funny it only cost me 25 to ship to him). Ne ways..

I shipped the Turbo to BNR on Jan 3rd. Under the impression it'ld take 1 week turn around.. I asked multiple times. January 9th the Turbo arrives and I'm told mid next week It'll ship.. January 12th I recieve a phone call about him not having the correct compressor housing. and he'll order them it'll be in on Friday of that week. January 24th email.. still on order hopefully next week it'll ship..January 31st. Now the Turbo is done.. but they overported the Turbine housing.. says he has to send me a port matched exhaust manifold and a custom gasket. (well yea.. you messed up my product.. you're going to have to fix it right?) Told the Turbo will ship early next week.. meaning like Monday or Tuesday of this week. .that's early.. Wednesday is mid week and thursday friday are late week to me.

Feb 5th.

Hey Eric.

It took a little while to get the gasket material, but I did get it and cut you out a gasket. I have it all ready to go, I will hopefully ship it out to ya today! As for the manifold, just send it to me whenever you can.

I'm suppose to send my manifold to them because of their mistake... oke I can live with that.. I'm getting a port matched manifold no biggie.

Feb 7th (today)

I wasn't at the shipping place when the boxes were shipped out. I dropped em off and haven't heard from them today. They did go out today.

It went out COD for 100 bucks. The turbine wheel was shot in your turbo. I thought I told you before I built it. Just wanted to notify before the box was sent out. Apex seals went through the turbo that is the reason for the bad turbine wheel. I also will send you warranty info and an invoice early next week so look out.

sorry about not notifying you about it. I just have so much going on. I write everything down about the turbos on your order sheets. if you have water lines/oil lines, if the housings/wheels or anything that is damaged. I have 17 turbos right now in line to do and your turbine wheel just slipped my mind. I am down to 1 good ht18 shaft... I need to invest in some cores. Give me a hollar if you have any questions...

Good luck.

I'd say its his mistake so you should only have to pay the quoted price.

Jan 20th

Hey Eric.

I have your cartridge built, but I am waiting on a compressor housing. After that I will send it out!

IF that's so that the wheel was shot he knew that whole time. I dunno it just on my nerves that I have an extra 100.00 bill added without any knowledge of it.

He also contradicts himself in his emails today saying that he sent the turbo then telling me he wanted to inform me that the turbo was shipped COD before he sent it out. mm kay. Had he just emailed me something three weeks ago saying it'ld be an extra 100.00 I would have sent a money order or whatever because I'ld know and it wasn't just an added bonus for having my turbo sit at his shop for almost a month.

You gotta learn how to be an *******, ESPECIALLY around mechanics no offense to the mechanics here.. but I fix computers and it's so goddamn tempting to make up a huge story of complications to charge even more money..so I know how easy it is.

You got a quote. If he makes you pay more, no deal. Get your **** back, and he should replace any parts he fucked up while trying to work on your car.

Now i'm down right annoyed and just wrote a lovely little email to BNR.

Stage 3

· 800-900 CFM compressor wheel

· clipped turbine wheel

· T04B package

· Ported turbine entrance

· Modified thrust bearing

Price: $625

Stage 4

· 60-1 compressor wheel

· T04B package

· 360 degree thrust package

· choice of turbine wheels (t3 hi flow, 0 trim, 69 trim, or P trim)

Prices start at $725

remember I spent 720 for my Turbo with shipping for the Stage 3. That's 5 dollars short of the Stage 4. Which replaces the turbine wheel!?!!?! 45 - 50 would have given me a larger turbo (dont' know if I needed it but i'ld have had the option) vs 100.00 to put a stock turbine wheel on it. that's ridiculous. I'm very eager to hear a reply from him about this.. To think he came highly recommended..
