I've heard they do a pretty good job. The previous owner of my car's previous TII had a Majestic that lost it's oil seals in fairly short order but that could well be a fluke.

Either way can't hurt to get them to quote me a price on it. The other question would be if this turbo is even rebuildable as it seems to be grinding.

he's alive! you're alive!

um its rebuildable, if the wheels hit the housings, it might a need a new wheel, or housing or both. if its got a to4 front side that basically means everything except the turbine housing and exhaust wheel are off the shelf. or the turbine housing and wheel are oddball mazda, and everything else isnt

The rumours of my demise are greatly exagerated.

Yeah I'm alive and kicking and actually own a TII. The world is coming to an end, at least once I pay it off

UniqueTII is busy as hell and currently rotorless. Still has the subaru allthough he hit a deer with it last week. The damage wasn't too bad and he'll wind up with an aftermarket radiator and carbon fiber hood out of the deal.

Red one, the colorshift one was sold to an idiot who promptly trashed the engine. Then sold it to someone for WAY too much money. There was a rumour that it was back in the general area, if I had a chance to get it cheap enough I would as I really loved that car despite the issues with it.

Now I just have to get the red one paid off and into running shape so I can have fun with it...till I blow the motor of course.

I don't think Ed's lost it to the point of underbody neon and fart can More that he can get the carbon fiber hood for only a bit more then the stock one.

I would try and find a local diesel shop, they always rebuild turbos..

Otherwise if you are looking to ship it out, I do rebuilds in the shop. Click below...
