Anybody ever rebuild there own turbo?

Just wondering if anyone has ever attempted rebuilding their own turbo? It seems like a worthwhile skill to have.

I'd like to try on a burnt out stock turbo just for the practice. Anybody ever pulled one of these apart?

ive seen it done, it looks very very easy. just make sure that you know what to replace/how to tell if its bad

Any specials tools I need?

Does anyone know of a rebuild media i.e. link, book, guide or tape?

Rebuild kits, parts lists, and or companies?
