when you say spacing out, can you elborate on that?
Making a spacer between manifold and the engine. You cannot use fd manifolds because they are designed around the fd lim which is closer to the engine than the fc lim. The fc lim sticks out more and an fd manifold would hit the fc lim. So you need spacer.

FD's run their turbos closer to the engine.

If you mount an FD turbo exhaust manifold on your FC 13BT, the turbo will hit the lower intake manifold.

If you run some sorta spacer (on the engine side or turbo side), it should clear the lower intake manifold with the FD turbo exhaust manifold.

All i know of the ss autochrome manifolds, is that they mock them after the hks, right? Well they are supposed to be coming out with a manifold for the Fc, but i don't know when.

About using the Fd manifold on my fc Could i use an racing beat engine flange as a spacer, by welding it to the manifold, or would it need to be thicker? Also would it be possible to use a Fd down pipe or adapt it to a downpipe for the Fc when putting together a turbo kit with the Fd manifold?

Hope it's not to confusing to you.
