I have an 88gxl and was thinking about doing the na to turbo swap. I picked up a tII tranny and drive shaft yesterday, and was wondering if i could mate the greddy tubo kit and fmic to my stock gxl engine and tII drive train? Is this a wise idea? or should i just look for a tII engine?

Yea, you would definately be better off with the TII engine than turbocharging the N/A.

Well if i'm gonna spend some cash on a tII why not spend a little more on a 13B-RE COSMO Engine!! Twin Turbo sounds just alittle bit nicer, don't you think?
