tuning with race gas

Is there a general rule of thumb for ignition and A/F when you tune race gas?
What is a safe margin to increase?
My tune is very conservative after 7 psi I am @ 11.2 to 1 and 12 deg advance
I have found trix race gas that is 101 unleaded or 110 leaded
also how long does race gas keep its octane
