hey guys i'm running on stock 91' GXL rims, i want to know if i can run...

Tire type: Potenza's S-03

225-50-15 in the rear

and

205-50-15 in the front?

and if so, how much more of a drop would be needed for ride height to be ideal with these tires. Using racing beat suspension, with a 1 to 4 damper settings.

what are the stock tire sizes? I am guessing 225 is too wide, but i dont know for sure. You know those two tires have a different side wall height?

the 225 = 225mm wide

the 50 = 50% of 225, so 112.5mm side wall

the 205 = 205 mm wide

the 50 = 50% of 205, so 102.5mm side wall

the side wall difference isnt bad or anything, but you would only be off by about a mm with a 205-50 and 225-45

If the wheels are 6.5 inches wide 215 is about as wide as you can go

If the wheels are 7 inches wide you can do a 225, but why not do the widest tire possible all the way around?

I run BFG G-Force sports on 91 NA's, with a 215/50 up front and a 225/50 out back, combo works great and has excellent response.

Steering might have gotten slopy with 225s on a 6 inch wheel.

I got 255 45 zr17's on 17X7.5 on the rears. and 225 45 zr17's up front. Goodyear Wrangler hp's covering the ***, and dunlop sp9000's up front, just cause the HP's are no longer made

Holy crap! You guys got a 225 on a 6 inch wheel, i thought they were at least 6.5. Does it look crazy? I guess there is enough side wall there that its possible.
