I recently picked up a set of used VR GT-C but I'm unsure of the tires I should/could get for them. I want to have a staggered setup, possibly 235 and 245, front and rear respectively but not sure if it can happen.

The wheels are 17" x 8" +41 offset, the tires that are currently on there are 215/45/17

I'm going by discounttire.com's plus size fitting and for the front I came up with 235/45/17. And for the rear I want to get 245. So 245/?/17. What series should I be running? Or is the safest bet just to go 235s all around?

I'm leaning towards the Yokohama AVS ES 100 right now. My car is also equipped with Tein Flex coilovers. So what's going to work for me?

Thanks for your time!

if you wanted to have a staggered setup prob should have bought staggered wheels, something wider than stock too. Putting different sized tires on the same sized rims changes the handling characteristics of the car. This can be a good and bad thing, your 235 45 and 245 45 idea isn't too bad. I'd say just use whatever keeps your speedo reading correct. Personally i think that a 245 is too big for an 8in wheel but alot of people seem to disagree.
