I can red line in every gear exept 5th. Why? I am doing 200 mph at 5000 RPM and that's as high as it'll go. I'm assuming there is a rev limiter or something in the chip is this true. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Ahhhh!!! Ok... Whew... I thought you were doing 200 in a RX7... haha... Ok... Hmmm... Sounds like you just need more power to push thru the air!

What kinda car? Mods?

5th gear is overdrive, you will need alot of power to get to speeds where you redline 5th. Reducing drag (improving aerodynamics, reducing weight...) will make it easier also. Smaller diameter tires will have a similar effect of a shorter rear end gear ratio, which will make all the gears seem shorter so you will have more torque multiplication but less top speed, however you will be able to get to higher r's in 5th.

If you get the miata 5 speed internals put in your box the ratio is a bit better and the gears are closer ratio, it will improve acceleration significantly and 5th will be more useful for things other than saving gas.
