i'm still suprised the rotor is ok. in my engine, the rotor, and the grooves were both destroyed when my apex seals went.

i was only using this template as a reference for sizes. Had i know it was so utterly useless i wouldnt have spent the 80 bucks (with shipping) on these stupid pieces of ****. Im gonna go bigger, thats for sure and my exhaust is going a little bigger also.



As for the engine. Thing is the apex seal didnt really like shatter or anything. A corner chipped off (small break) and that made the 1 gash. The rotor has a couple little scraps in it, but nothing bad. I will take pictures tomorrow when everything is done soaking in carb cleaner.

I have never seen irons so Black everywhere, I'm used to them being totally clean... I have a couple of housings from an n/a that are scracthless, let you have one for $40...

the housings the same? I could swear the 91 TII housings are different.

Even fd ones will work, the only differnce between s4 and s5 housings is the egr passage. Just need to block it.

s4 jdm housings (maybe s5 jdm too, never seen one) have the leading plugs a little lower

why is that? that sounds retarded. I dont want 1 leading plug lower than the other... that would cause some issues....

they get a little more timing, but you prolly dont want to mix those up
