Hey guys. My car is finally almost done! Can't wait to drive it, the bf and I have been working on it since I bought it in march. By the time it's ready to go, it will be time for snow tires. I've heard really good things about blizzaks, but I was wondering what your experiences were? I'm undecided on using the stock rims (16x7) or purchasing them with the new tires.

On the next note, this is my first car where I will be running winter and summer tires. So I would like some summer tore recommendations as well. I live in CT, so they can't be strictly track tires and need to preform in the rain as well. I'd like something high performance but won't wear overly quick. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated, I really have very little experience with tires.

What are you running? Photos? Thanks!

well if its gonna be in the snow and have to deal with salt then just use the stock rims for snow and have some nice rims when it comes to the other seasons

My suggestion is don't drive it in the snow.....but blizzacks are probably the best snow tire out there for passenger cars.

I actually looked at getting those, you're right. I'll. Use the stock rims. I don't want to drive it in the snow, but it's my only vehicle right now. Thanks guys!

Understandable. Driving on those tires not in the winter tears the up pretty good too just an fyi. I worked at a tire store many years ago and saw people not take them off in the spring and they wear fast.
