You should try to control the wheel spin. Spinning the wheels slows you down.



Feathering....it is both, the clutch and the throttle. You will need to keep the rpms @ 5500+ on the launch. You should be constantly controlling both. The FEEL is the most important thing. Practice, Practice, Practice....



I had taken 2sets of clutch to get it right....it was expensive but, it was worth it.....cost of racing you know.



I trully believe that the type of clutch you use is very important. For us turbo car street users..a good type of material should be used. I had used kevlar and liked it alot. It acutally helped my clutch system work better. It also felt better during a launch. AND the big plus was that my flywheels was scorned...I had gone though 2 flywheels...copper pucks (very bad) and Ferrodo material (very good for everyday use, but still warped the flywheel due to the heat that was generated).

Oh...to add. I also gained more input from motorcycle drag racing. They teach you how to control throttle and clutch during take off...it is the same concept. To much throttle lifts the front wheels.....too much clutch kill rpms...etc, etc.



It is all about balance.



If you have a drag racing class in your area...take it. It is worth the money.

thats how i used to do it but i forgot how over the winter, when it was in storage so i just use the begginer way of drop clutchin :dontgetit: .

You know. Just by looking at your MPH...your are right there. If can run 101-103 MPH, you are in the high 13's.



I constantly ran those number and always hit it.

my n1 catback should be here next week. so i should def be in the 13's with that and the manual boost controller

i have a panspeed light tuned sport ecu which is AMAZING. the car runs great with it. right now i'm at about 210rwhp according to physics with low boost and stock catback!!!!!
