Why not 8500?
tach only goes to 8000
You could always throw in an NA tach.

That is just carzy, i have tried 5500, and i just sat there smoking tires, and i didn't even try my Q-mile cuz my 0-60 was like 15sec, i have toyo summer tires too, so its not like i have shitty tires. I can't believe u launch @ 7000, with my G-tech my best times were launching @ 3-3 1/2k. What happens when u luanch @ 7k?

Okay...this was all old school:

GSL-SE secondary injectors (I think they were 660's?)....flowed by RC Engineering

RB 3" turbo back

ITG intake

Ported wastegate

RB Light steel flywheel, w/street & strip clutch

New mounts...every where

Mazdatrix strut bar w/torque brace

I did all the major OEM replacement to keep it totally (almost) stock.

Oh, my computer was programmed by Hideo of Trust USA R&D. He did it before they hired him.

One last thing...that was on street tires..Dunlop M2(?) back then. My suspension was fab'b by Ground Control...I dont remember the spring rates.

Thats about it. It was a really simple set up. I had proved this set up on another friends T2.....w/o the computer reprogram....instead we used the 1st gen FCON.

That is why you have to feather the clutch off of the line.

Oh...in regards to my friends time...it was almost identical.

You know....marriage. It was an extra car. I had to sell it to get more cash for my house. My wife thought it was best to sell it since, I was not using it. She also told me when the time comes I could get another one.....

That is why I want to sell my Vert to get another T2. I really do not want to get rid of it...but, I also need a pick up. So selling the vert...I get 1 pick up and 1 T2....a better trade off.

I know it sounds funny...but it was the deal I made with my wife....damn women.

u mean let off slowly right? When i first got my 7, on the G-tech again, w/ a 200lb friend my car did 0-60 in 7.4 every time with feathering from idle @ no more than 1/2 throttle until it got going. That is the fastest i have ever got my car to do 0-60, becuz thats back when i had some more low end power, and 6 ports working! Now i just burn rubber through first and a good long screech going into 2nd and a chirp in 3rd. Thats why i need some big tires liek 13BAce.

i couldn't even imagine even feathering that high, even though yes i was just drop clutching @ 5500 I'll see what feathering does that high.
