What are the differences in a tII and a n/a besides motors,ecu,wiring harness, 5 lug hubs, brakes, gauge cluster and hood?? will an n/a tranny bolt up to my turbo motor? what else needs to be swapped out?

N/A tranny will bolt up but you will break it. they can't handle the torque...

 

maf, pressure sensor, dash harness, depends on what n/a model you are going from, t2 has a better suspension/brakes/drivetrain

 

Will it be ok if i drain the oil out of my motor for about a month?? ill be storing it inside and my mom dont want a mess.......

 

yeah, its just gonna sit in the oil pain anyhow. But hmmmm the oil pan can't rust can it?

 

You can drain your block of oil, but be cautious of ANY moisture being in the motor when you do this as it will cuase the apex seals(steel remember) to rust and seize..you shouldn't have this problem though. The oil pan doesn't rust as it comes with anti-rust black paint from the factory. My oil pan sat out in the rain and snow for 2 months and was fine. If your motor has a lot of miles on it, go ahead and drain your oil and then pour some ATF into the lower spark plug holes when you let it sit, this should help prevent any carbon lock on the APEX seals as well...but your motor will smoke a LOT when you start it back up

Oh...and when you put the atf in the motor...spin it around each time to make sure you get a good coat on each apex :bigthumg:

 

I put oil in the motor i sold and spun it around to prevent. Im just waiting on my new oil right now to put some in my motor, since its empty! hope the seals stay coo coo.
