Along with vosko, my TII die first after my second run. Looks like main bearing failure. Engine sounds like a bad dryer with a few hammer spiinning inside. Probably due to bad rebuild and over rev.



My luck, I found a J-spec engine a few miles aways. Series 5 too Hope to have that bad boyup and running by tuesday.

nah. its gonna be the same amount of time to get either car running. i think i would rather drive my FD, air conditioning, faster, nicer, etc etc

Do you already have a series 5 motor in your '87 T2? If not...don't look forward to having it running by Tues, lol...

Nevermind...didn't see the Haltech thing..you lucky bastards!

I just want to drive my GTX a lil while until I can afford a rebuild and Haltech...but I don't think I'll get a chance..damn Jspec doesn't wanna work for me! Hey..where are you all getting your motors?

NOOOOOOOO!!!! that sucks bad. no wonder i havent seen your car at work. This old timer i know told me that the guy at petite racing recomends a turbo that spools low, and shifting at 6k rpm. He blows engines on a regular basis anyway though. turborotor, now you can get that 3 rotor you were lusting after. :bigok:
