I remember reading something a while back about being able to adapt the supercharger system from a Ford Thunderbird to an FC. A supercharged T-Bird engine just sort of fell into my lap, so I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about this, and what's all required to make it work. Thanks.

Oh, really? What's all involved in that?

Almost seems wrong to replace the rotary, and then I'd be messing with the whole front mid-engine thing.. but I suppose, cheap power is cheap power.

Hey, I have a turbo off a ford thunderbird turbo coupe on my rotary and it's been workin really well for me. It has awsome boost levels and it is really easy to adapt it to fit. Heres a little bit of info on the turbo. It's a ....Garret T3 60 Trim..... It is able to produce enough boost on a 4cyl engine to get as much as 250HP. (with proper porting and exhaust of course).. In a rotory engine it is capable of boosting in the upper teens and lower twenty's. On average I run between 18 and 24 PSI. I have had few mods to my engine (street port, 3" dual exhaust, custom exhaust manifold,) and I am smokin every car that races me. I have yet to lose a race since the turbo was added. If you need any help on the turbo install just give me a holla
