a full exhaust and a fuel cut defencer will get you that jump start on 60 hp , add in a little extra boost and fuel and there you have it .

Why not tear the motor apart? If it's been recently rebuilt (assuming that whoever did it knew what they were doing) then the housings should still be good, so you wouldn't have to worry about that $1000 price tag. Besides, thats the only way you're gonna see an extra 50-60hp with an n/a.

Edit: lol, is the car n/a or turbo?

i dont want to tear the motor apart because i dont have the time or the money for that right now, later down the road i'll have no problem with it.. im trying to go N/A that way i can buy regular gas, premium is killin me with the talon and it'd be even worse in a RX-7

Stock ecu and rotaries are not easy on the gas tank. Get a 4 cyl if you want gas mileage.

It takes money and knowledge to get over 200hp on a na.

Best to just find a TII.
