I'm trying to readjust the throtle stop screw on the Jspec TII S5 engine. The screw is different from the s4. S4 as just a screw with a lock nut. The s5 i have is a screw that is inside some cylinder thing with a strong spring. I can't seem to make it turn and i don't want to break it if i force it. Is there a special trick for this settup or special screw driver???

Are you sure your not looking at the TPS adjustment screw? The TPS screw is spring loaded. The idle adjustment screw on my S5 TII is on the throttle cable side of the throttle body. Maybe its different with J-spec, but mine is still just a screw with a lock nut.

I know what you mean, This is different. no lock nut. I'll take a pic tommorow. Is like a heavy duty spring, not the wimpy kind with the TPS.

i think i know what youre talking about .. but i think i ended up throwing that away when i did the tb mod. The stopper is just a screw with a lock nut on it. Real small.
