Well, I thought I had everything fixed but starting yesterday the TB is getting stuck at random RPMs, sometimes revving it will free the butterflys sometimes not, gets stuck from 1.5k to 6k. Annoying to say the least...

Any ideas on why? Can the TPS cause this?

id start with the throttle cable, and spraying some carb cleaner into the tb on the butterflies and **** in case there's any build-up on them.

make sure the throttle is mounted properly.

if its not what kevin says, look at the thermowax. if its clogged, or has air in it, it can stick the idle high

I would think that it would be the linkage, or one of them, last year my car started to do this, thought I fixed it, nope, had to take the TB off, and cut the one linkage off, but I have the TB MOD, on my car, so if you don't those other two guys are likely right.

Sorry, I didnt mention my TB mod had been done, no thermowax on my TB.

When you say cut off the linkage, is that the spring like think that wraps around the TB I want to say arm, that the plates ride on.

Sorry, its been a few years, 3 years since I last had a Turbo II, so I am newbie all over again...

Another question, what is the thing hanging on the side of the UIM, it has a plug like the same shape as the TPS, and shoots a large vac line into the IC...cuz Its not plugged in, but the vac lines are semi capped.

I believe you are describing the Bypass Air Control Valve, which controls idle speed.

Its not the BAC, the BAC is blocked off and capped, this thing is on the side of the UIM that is facing the firewall. Its on the side mind you, not the top. And the BAC plug doesnt look like the TPS plug.
