Default TB vacuum line, where should it go...

i have a S4 Turbo II...

were the heck does a hose go to this and then to where? Rats nest was deleted, not by me and there is just this single thing that i see that is not hooked up to anything.

this is some kind of damper/actuator on the pulley side of the TB.

i also dont have that manifold thing on the thermo wax either.... does this mean i dont need to hook up anything to that damper? or do i still need a vacuum source for it?
