i understood that, i just wrote it wrong, my bad.



But yea, it was only one wire that had a short, but i replaced the actual switch, and it all worked, no need to change the harness. So that y i suggested wut i did. from my own experience.

I still think that before you buy a new or refurb'd switch, you should fix that fuse issue. Since some of your lights work, the switch may be ok yet.

I only meant to also check the harness, not the WHOLE harness, just the one that goes to the light switch.

if you repair it double up the burned wires, that is how mazda has updated the replacement harnesses
