my taillights dont work, and neither do my dash light, but my brake lights do and also my reverse lights, my main fuse in the engine bay is broken off.... could this be the problem???
|
Might be, replace any fuse thats burned out, and see if their still out.
|
If you cant salvage that fuse block, email one of the guys selling 2nd gen parts in the for sale section... someone probably has one. So, is it the 80amp fuse thats broken off but everything else still works??
Its Chris by the way... I was trying to help you on IM last night for a bit. |
yes is it the 80 amp fuse... there are 2 prongs that the fuse goes into and those are broken off.... im gonna buy a headlight switch if i can find one somewhere https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png cant figure this car out

check that out before getting a whole new harness. |

check that out before getting a whole new harness. According to Jim its really only one wire that goes bad in it, so a harness isnt needed, just a wire repair. |
i understood that, i just wrote it wrong, my bad.
But yea, it was only one wire that had a short, but i replaced the actual switch, and it all worked, no need to change the harness. So that y i suggested wut i did. from my own experience. |
I still think that before you buy a new or refurb'd switch, you should fix that fuse issue. Since some of your lights work, the switch may be ok yet.
