I think it was icemark who told me that the factory tach is adjustable?
here is what he said: Pretty easy to re-calibrate the stock gauge. There is a adjustment pot right on the back of the gauge's sub panel.
both of my FC tachs are way off, I have shift lights in both and just rely on the lights

R.I.P IceMark and all his knowledge
i have a shift light in mine but it doesnt work i also have an annoying constant buzzing sound that seems almost like a horn but will suddenly go away with a sudden jerk on the steering wheel i keep thinking its a problem in my horn relay but i completely removed my horn wire from the steering wheel but it still goes off

I dont see any adjustment screw, is it behind the gauge itself?
Interesting enough this is a NA cluster, the circuit board has BOOST on it, so I guess you could trace the wiring and take the volt gauge out and put a factory boost gauge in its spot

so you obviously have to take it all apart!
thanks for the picture, maybe one day I will calibrate that crap- yeah right who has the head to take all that **** apart and put it in again and keep going until its accurate?
