T11 Tranny

I have a 88' Gtu and sometimes i heard Gtu come with the heavy duty TurboII Tranny. Is this true and if it is how would i find out?

I believe the TurboII Tranny has an egg-crate type bell housing, whereas the non-turbo's bell housing is smooth(er).
