Is there any problems doing this swap? Its temporary, i hope, while I get my S5 rebuilt locally.

What problems should I look forward to?

is that a serious suggestion? I would think sticking a screw driver in there would be "unadvisable"

Ok guys I think i'm in luck! I got my true duals off and started thinking about whwat to do first before removing the damn tranny....

Dropping the tranny low enough so that I could unscrew the sensor that goes in that spot was pretty simple, with air tools .

Well I poked an allen wrench from my roller blades in there and used it as a lever to pop the switch back to the neutral position! Instead of wasting a good hour replacing exhaust and **** I decided that I would run the engine open header to test if it had worked or not. Well From what I can tell I have forward gears again!

Here is what is screwing with my head though! If I leave it in neutral now and ease out the clutch the drive shaft still spins! So.....now what does this mean? I might just bolt up the drive shaft with open header and see what happens when the whole drive train is hooked up.

Any comments/advice?
