suspension

I would think Hydraulics would be tough to do on a RX7. Since they have no give you mount the spring on the bottom of the hydraulic ram. I'm not sure there is room for that.
Air bags offer a better ride and generally costs less.

yeah, it lets you drop the car down, usually without screwing too much with the ride otherwise, or adding an incredible amount of weight, like hydraulics would, but I am not certain, I have always been more into functional suspension modifications rather than showy ones, though I do think it is funny to watch them sometimes.

Go with airbags. I used to have them on my truck. Try www.truckn.com (AIM Industries), they're stuff isn't always the best quality, but its a start.

If you truly want to install an air bag suspension kit, then I suggest you talk to a company that specializes in producing show cars. They have the fabrication equipment to do this.
There is one RX-7 that I know of, that has an air bag suspension. That is Tom Ngo's car of Team Hybrid. His car is an FD which is more marketable from a visual standpoint. I don't expect to see an air bag suspension KIT built specifically for FCs.
You're better off w/ coilovers IMO. Cheaper and you can actually race your vehicle at a autocross or drag strip. Not sure if the drag strip will let you race w/ the air bag system.
