i Found an S5 but the front passenger area was hit in an accident. I haven't seen the car yet but i was told that the "place where you mount the strut bar" was moved a little bit. SO there is structural damage.. THe FC is going to be sold for cheap and everything is fine. How much would it cost to repair the amount of damage done (i know it's repairable for a decent amount of money, but don't know how much it would cost). Do they have to put it on some sort of frame machine to straighten everything out?

it can be put on a frame machine, most places charge you to set it up, then pull it. so just that can be in the $400-500 range, thats not including paint or other bodywork.

car should be CHEAP.

I can find a fender and body parts liek headlight for cheap. It is red so it's quite common. If it is really that cheap to full it, then do you think it's worth it? Will i feel the damage even after the repair?

depends on how bad it is, but if its a side impact its prolly ok. the racers bend that upper rail for camber anyways, and it doesnt seem to affect anything

its not worth it, you can buy really nice FCs cheap enough as it is.

I dont mind panel damage, but when things shift it complicates things, body panels dont

like to line up when the places you bolt them to have moved and are trying to be banged back

FC, and FDs metal is fairly thin, seems like an accordian once you start messing with them.

if anything buy the car for parts.

i'm with rob on this one, esp w/our cars. i'd be afraid that things "just wouldn't be the same" after it's bent back
