Ok, this is my first post, but I have been lurking for a while. I've spent the summer shopping around for an fd and was wondering if I could have some input on this car.

1. My budget after purchase would be ~$3500, how far would that take me?

2. Do his compression figures sound close for the cars history?

3. Any other input would be appreciated, thanks

Not too bad. 3500 doesn't go too far though... Compression sounds good... Can they get you more pictures? Specifically of the engine bay?

$9500 is too much considering the flood damage. You will have electrical gremlins- Keep looking. For 13k you could find much better.

Well, just try not to get yourself stuck with something.. so, like qwester007 said, keep looking a little more.. I doubt this FD is going to get sold soon.. unless the guy trys to sell it on ebay.

Also with a recent paint job from black to silver, I doubt door jams and engine bay were painted also. So when you open the doors or the hood you probably see black. I agree with the others FLOOD DAMAGE STAY AWAY!!! unless you can rewire the car and re-lobe suspension parts, rear differential, tranny etc.......
