StillInHighSchool 01-08-2003 07:15 PM

my rx7 guru...the guy who makes the things into race cars for a living...said autos suck all the power out of the engine..before i do anything i need to get an automatic..his name..estes..and the thing is this guy may have been out of the game for awhile..so i didnt know if theres something cheaper i can do...

Sorry about ur dad. But I would recommend nitrous, cuz its gonna cost a lot of $$$ to make an n/a fast otherwise.

$60 cant buy anything for your car worthwhile.

Get something cosmetic.

Or you can buy $60 worth of booze or drugs and forget alllllll about it.

$58.50 worth of gas, a $1.50 lighter, and have yourself a big automatic bon fire. J/k

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I'd ditch the convertible for a TII, even a stocker will be noticeably quicker and you might even get change! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Use your $60 towards getting your vert detailed to make it look nice for prospective buyers.

Sorry to hear about your dad.

i know how you feel.. heres what to do. put on the hold button. put it in first. then when that redlines put it in 2nd. then when that redlines put it in 3rd. then when that redlines take of the hold and let off the gas a little to let it shift to 4th then get back in it and yeah that should help. its also not so bad if you get at about 4000 in N and then with the hold button on drop it to 1st. its simalar to dumping the clutch.

This will destroy your tranny in a short time. The "HOLD" button is the single worst feaure ever used in automotive history IMO. If you like the vert, swap in a manual. If you're not to attached to the top down driving, get a different car.
