I am currently changing the intake manifold gasket cause there is a leak. Someone told me to use a hammer and a peice of wood to remove it but it was a fail Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove a stuck intake manifold? Are there only 4 screws on it? haha hopefully I didnt forget to remove a screw. btw white stuff would come out in between the intake mani and rotor housings. Coolant leak?

Which intake manifold? The lower or upper? I know the upper has a hidden bolt on the firewall side, it goes in horizontally, and holds a hard vacuum line in place.

If this is a turbo version, the upper manifold has five bolts. Maybe you missed the long one in the middle?? I would recommend using a dead blow hammer and hit it with that, not too hard of course. If you can't get it off, post up a pic. Good luck!
