Got the flywheel today.
It's neat! I put the ringgear in the oven on broil for about 5 minutes, and had the flywheel in the freezer during that time. Dropped on effortlessly. Perfect! |

Glad everything worked out for you, see asking the question acctually saved you a pretty big headache
|
Yeah true say.
I didn't figure on heating it for too long.. I actually had it on 400 f for a while and then just set it to broil. It was in the oven for all of 10 minutes tops. When I switched it to broil I decided to put the flywheel in the feezer.. On top of my dinner.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Thanks again guys! |
Did it stink up the kitchen? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
|
Actually yes.. I left the broiler on while I ate my grilled cheese and I didn't notice.
Not smart! Smokey! |
How much did it cost, all said and done and shipped into canada?
|
$203 USD on the dollar after freight and tax and crap.
In CDN is was around $275 or so. I'm impressed with it as it looks, and I can't wait to try it out, but I hesitate to say impressed until I'm actually driving with it. I can't wait though! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
