A good rule is to bring the part down there when you go if you are dealing with a clueless parts clown. Most parts guys arent well paid and probably came over from a auto parts store and only know how to read micro-fishe.
When you find a good parts guy at a dealer he is probably getting paid very well and knows his ****. And stick to your guns when asking for something "fuel pulsation damper", you mean fuel regulator, "no I mean fuel pulsation damper". Tell them to bring it up on the micro-fishe. I think you can update that damper to a S5 one that wont leak. |
you need an s5 rail then too.

if you read the fc3s-pro link I supplied, they document the issue very well. Even the S5 version can fail and leak, they provide part #'s for earls banjo fittings to eliminate the pulsation damper but I'm not sure how this effects the operaiton of the fuel system.
