Second Question: The 5 lug/4piston capliers on a sport n/a are the same as the ones on the TII so the spindle would match right?

MMM, learn something new everyday....

Hi John:

I see you visited the Emhart website and had a HeliCoil related

question. In answer to your question, yes, HeliCoils can be placed in

through hole applications. In fact it is quite common. If you have any

other technical questions please feel free to give me a call or send me

an e-mail. Thanks and have a great day. By the way, I'm traveling this

week and will be out of the office. If you have an urgent question that

needs to be answered this week you can try and contact my cell

phone

I never knew you could use them in through hole. I guess you install them full length and cut the rest off so it's flush with the peice?

Final Solution: 250lbs impact wrench got one bolt but not the other.

So I bought a 550lbs wrench and got it out too. Destroyed 3 impact sockets doing it.

Anyone got a passenger side 4 caliper spindle they want to get rid of for cheap?

Dunno that would make it a bit easier to get, like off one of my other cars for example.

What's needed for a 4 lug to 5 lug conversion? If the spindle isn't then I"m good.

Im pretty sure its the same. I didnt change the front spindle to go to 5 lug.

Now if different years/models have different spindle heights im not 100% sure. But I doubt it.
