Thumbs down

After a helpful hint to check the fuel lines, which of course, I hooked up back wards, and cleaning several sets of plugs, I finally got the car started today. I killed my share of misquitoes tonight with all the smoke.

Burped all the air out and topped the radiator off. Adjusted the black magic fan, man, it moves air.

Now I need to build a TPS test light.

I have a slight hunt for idle and it will not idle after reving the motor up.

I need to drop the trans again and see why the clutch will not fully dis engage. With the car running, i can not put the car in gear. If i put the car in gear and kick the starter the car will move slightly. The clutch hydralics were replace and bled twice. I installed a Center Force Dual Friction clutch assy. No noise from the trans while the car is running.

But, YES, the car does start and run, as soon as I de flood it again.

Any suggestions or ideas on the motor not maintaining an idle after running the RPM up?

Why the clutch not dis engaging all the way? (what did I fck up on the install)

I did not have these difficulties building up the 79. Must be my time.

Thanks.

yes, did both.

I wonder if i damaged the new pilot bearing during install, but they normally sqeal if not working right. I will find out in 8 more days when i have a day off to pull the trans.
