well its now the 4th day of being under my car messing with the starter. Day 1 get up in the morning to go to work turn the key and i get nuthing no solinoid click or nuthin, so i called in and said im gonna be late. So i get under there and wiggle some wires and she cranks over, I found out that it was the solinoid spade plug, i replaced it once, 2 days later it doesnt start again, so i figure the one i put on was worn from the beginning so i replaced it with a new one that locks on, now after that being installed i figured everything was gonna be good, i was wrong, so now i have no clue what to do. i guess in gonna be under there again tomorro,Oh yea there is also a weird noise coming from that area right as the car starts, no sound when the engines cranking, only when it just starts, then it stops when u turn the key back. I dont know whats going on i had the starter rebuilt about 5 months ago.

Clean and check all your starter connections, including the battery connections themselves.. Also check for any chaffing on any of the wires, make sure no rub-throughs.

If they all look good, suspect the rebuild shop..

That noise is your starter still engaged with the motor turing it over. Just go buy a NEW starter.

na, my starters fine, the prob was the solinoid wire, in the wireing harness there was a chaf, I was under the car and my buddy cranked the key over i saw smoke coming from the harness, so i cut it back and found the rip in the insulation, i put in a new wire and its fine now, no noise and it starts every time , finally
