My starter interlock switch has gone bad. I've decided to take the switch out and bypass it. I know how to bypass the switch. I've undone the bolts that hold the switch up. What I can't do is get the switch out because the cord is held in by some kind of hook. I was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on what I can do to get the switch out so that my car will start. I can't push start the car because the roads are ice and when I tried the wheels just slid and wouldn't spin. SO please help!
