So exactly how would you extract 350 flywheel hp?Other than a fmic and a haltech with injectors?Curious,I might do a T2 engine into a FB next year.Need to find one that needs a engine first. With the haltech can you use the factory T2 harness' or do you rewire the entire engine?

Can you reach 350hp on the stock T2 turbo from a Series 5 engine?

Maybe on a large ported engine. Other than that, I really doubt it.

I will let you know, If i do get a rebuilt its gonna get the BIGGEST streetport job there is. I might screw around with a used/jspec for a while till i can save about another thousand dollars... or so.

Dont forget struts and brakes. Unless you got the 7 to handle and stop better than the scoob without telling me. lol
I just made the Scoob handle worse.

I made a list of everything I'm going to want, and it totaled $4500. It included brakes, springs, struts, and everything I listed above, assuming I can find some stuff used/cheaper. I also have to factor in either a new tranny or a rebuild. This is going to be a very expensive project.

J9FD3S tell us about that top mount oil cooler. We want to know how it works.
i have no idea, i found that car on the internet

ed: ok, you know what you want to do. i suggest doing stuff in stages, like this winter, do the clutch/tranny, and struts/springs. if you have any money left put it towards more power (bov, injectors etc)

the car will be more fun if its not apart for most of a year while you save all your money

That's what I was thinking Mike. I have to get the turbo and tranny rebuilt, so I'll at least do that and the brakes/suspension/clutch.

After that, should I get the Haltech first and then the IC/Rad. or the other way around? Or should I just keep an eye out for good prices on stuff and go from there?
