mine went out on the series five tii last night...

just died.. opened her up and nothing was loose

assumption is that the cable or the gauge needs replacement..

anyone else have any ideas other than those two....

everything else works on the cluster

Cable also. Take out the cable from both ends and see if when you spin it at the bottom if the upper part spins.

broke 3 times on my mom's FC NA, still broken so i have to use the tach when i drive it (backup car).



although right now the car is not aging milage-wise...
