I thought it was BUR7EQ and BUR9EQ..

I've seen Fre refer to them as QE9s a bunch of times.. Is that another type of plug to use or.. ?

LOL Well no offense intended I just wasn't sure..

When I buy plugs they come in packs of 2 7EQs and 2 9EQs... How are you guys getting all 7s or all 9s, without making some kind of special order that will arrive in 3 - 4 days. LOL

Is that what the different numbers are for? Everybody talks about how more efficient of a burn or different temperature they each operate at.. I've never really looked into it..

alot of people just run what they hear someone tell them to run.

Im sure people can run all the same plugs and wont see any ill effects

of it, but the rule is the more modified the car, and the higher RPMs

you will need a colder plug.

I dont go revving my car up above 7000rpm the whole time I drive my car,

so I run 7s and 9s, Here is what MazdaTrix says about it

I say the seven's burn more efficient NA because they are a bit hotter plug (and obviously what Mazda recommends). The 9's all around thing is usually for turbo guys who want to avoid detonation. I only ran 9's once all around NA because I buy in bulk every couple years and there happened to be two extra 9's for some reason. It was fine but like I said, there is no benefit to all 9's on an NA unless maybe you run nitrous or anything that can get you near the lean end of the scale.
