i just changed my spark plugs. the ones i replaced were the ceramic end ones, the ones i put on were metal on the ends. the car seems to be running better. the old plugs were pretty black on the ends. hopefully this will improve my gas mileage which wasnt really bad before, but it could have improved. now it idles at about 1000-1200 instead of about 500-750

Just go with stock NGKs, your idle should be 750 or so.
