errors #13, #17, #27

everyone of these says check for broken wires and bad connections... i didn't break out the multimeter yet (too pissed) but i did look at everything breifly and didn't find anything.

13 = pressure sensor (intake manifold) (aka... map sensor)

17 = o2 sensor... i had a new one on the way already

27 = metering oil pump. - probably gonna end up running premix.

yeah... so it's expensive and annoying... lol

i blame apex13b... bought the car from him hahahahaha

what do u guys think?

Before you go nuts, re-check your engine to firewall ground.

What sureshot said, it seems odd that you would all that go bad at once. Maybe even a bad ECU?

so u are in limp mode? Doesn't Error 27 cause you to go into limp mode. Regardless you should remove the -ve and then reconnect, drive aroud and see if those codes come back.

the map sensor... it has 4 prongs, but my connection to it only has 3... my T2 is in another location so i can't see if it's normal, does anyone know?

i realize it sounds stupid, it's just the harness is taped up tight at that point, so it would be difficult to imagine the 4th wire falling out of the connection and getting severed and disappearing...

could someone check for me?

and yes... the car goes into limp mode once the check engine light comes on...

also... when it happened... i stopped and turned off the car... when after about 15 seconds i started it... drive home easily and it was normal for like 10 minutes before it hit limp mode. i told my dad not to drive it ( it's his car ) but he drove it anyways and came back reporting the same problem... 10 minutes ok... then limp mode (at least he described it, cuz he doesn't know what limp mode is), but turn the car off and start it again... and it's fine.

89+ pressure sensor is 3 wires. for code 27 i'd unplug it and make sure all the connections are nice and tight, then reset the ecu
