ok work at Oilers Lube Express, i changed the oil on a chevy venture and one requirement of our 22 point top side inspection is to pull the air filter and present it to the customer, if they buy a new one kewl, and i make a lil more cash per hour, anyways i unscrewed the air filter housing and put in a new air filter but i left the ******* screwdriver under the hood of it, i shut the hood and the customer came back with the front passenger headlight lens in his hand, aparently when i shut the hood the screwdriver cracked it and it popped off, now 120 bucks comes outta my check casue its policy if me or someone else works there and something breaks becasue of something like this we gotta pay for it, lol it ******* blows,i cant believe i did that, and that evil ******* screwdriver was no where to be found! maybe i didnt do it? not a good day at the job, **** happens i guess,

Bummer dude. Check, check, then check again to make sure that you checked for loose tools.

yup thats the rule. check three times to make sure evrything is done and everything that shouldnt be there is out. at least you now know. and just convince people to get new oilfilters so u make that little extra to pay off the 120

I hate it when tools (well, where I leave them) **** things up...like leaving something on the fender when closing the hood, or dropping the bumper down onto a jack stand. That one almost made me vomit.
