We'll just have to agree to disagree on this. Studs and lug nuts are designed to exert a certain amount of clamping pressure equally around the circumfereence of the hub. Just like you can warp a brake rotor from overtightening the lugs, you can warp them from unqual clamping pressure.

People do 5-4 lug conversions all the time. How is this any different?
