So the other day i was doing something or other on the car and i managed to foul the threads on one of the rear lugs and got the nut stuck on there. I ended up just breaking the whole lug off with a breaker bar. The question is, how much of a problem do you think it would be to run with 4/5ths of my lugs? Personally, i dont see much of a problem with it, but i still want some opinions.

well thats 80% if you did everything 80% we'd be thrilled.....

back in the day some of the race teams used to run 4 out of 5 lugs, its 20% faster in the pits

I PERSONALLY would not due this. You have increased the load to the other studs.

temp. its okay.... you really only need 3 on to keep the wheel from falling off

i would say running with 4/5 is okay for a trip to the dealer/auto store to get a new lug, and then a trip back home to install it

however i did drive to canada in my mr2 witn only 4 lugs on one wheel

i dont think it matterd ---- 4 should be fine - just fix it when u get a chance
